Such a pity that this bias continues. Apart from the de-validation of the mother, there is an increasing problem, in patronymic-dominated societies, of the name-pool being reduced. It is reported that in many French apartment buildings, there are so many Patrick Thomas that they are given numbers on post-boxes.
